“Where Experience Counts”
Today, many of our families are at risk with their members subjected to domestic violence and family violence. KNOWLEDGE IS POWER is a 501 (c) (3) Charitable Foundation to assist members of at-risk families in their battle to break the cycle of violence and abuse; so essential if they are to become productive members of our society.
It can be done! I am living proof that with the proper guidance, tools, and information, an individual and a family can overcome the evils in many of our at-risk communities. I was a victim of physical, mental, emotional, economic, and sexual abuse and found myself in one abusive relationship after another. I knew in my heart that there was something better for my children and me. I finally fought free of this cycle of violence and my poor and sometimes tragic choices. I had overcome my environment, my upbringing, and my poor choices.
I know our programs work! I have become the change I want to see in the world. Many, many of our at-risk family members are victims or perhaps survivors. We bring the message: Surviving isn’t good enough; we will settle for nothing less than overcoming. WE WILL BE OVERCOMERS.
We bring this message: Surviving isn’t good enough; we will settle for nothing less than overcoming.
WE WILL BE OVERCOMERS
Success to you,
